De Lettuce Bear (DLB) has officially launched Selangor’s first indoor farming incubator in partnership with the Department of Agriculture (DOA) Selangor a bold move that signals a new chapter for sustainable agriculture in Malaysia.
As the only private company selected for this pioneering initiative, DLB’s involvement reflects the DOA’s trust in our mission: to modernize farming through innovation, collaboration, and long-term impact. This is more than a milestone. It’s a model.
At the heart of the incubator is a government-sponsored indoor farming site, a strategic asset that lowers operational costs and enables experimentation without the usual barriers. But infrastructure is only the beginning. The incubator is designed to develop real-world talent and viable agri-businesses through hands-on experience, mentorship, and access to commercial pathways.
By combining public support with private-sector agility, we’re building a system where new farmers thrive and DLB’s supply chain grows stronger. This incubator isn’t just feeding our farms, it’s fueling the future of food.
Together with DOA, we’re investing in Malaysia’s next generation of agri-preneurs. And we’re just getting started.
