De Lettuce Bear (DLB) was honored to be invited by Malaysia’s Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security to participate in the ASEAN Summit’s Special Exhibition, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. This event served as a pivotal platform for industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators from across Southeast Asia and beyond to witness the region’s technological advancements and future-forward solutions.
At our exhibition booth, DLB showcased its breakthrough in indoor farming, the first application of selenium biofortification in Southeast Asia. This cutting-edge agricultural innovation enhances the nutritional value of lettuce by enriching it with selenium, a crucial micronutrient with scientifically recognized health benefits.
We had the opportunity to engage with a diverse audience, including delegates, investors, researchers, and technology experts from various ASEAN member states and international organizations. Their interest in our work affirmed the relevance and potential of DLB’s approach to sustainable, health-centric agriculture.
By demonstrating Malaysia’s ability to lead in agri-tech innovation, DLB helped position the nation as a growing hub for sustainable food technology and smart farming practices. Our participation at the summit not only underscored our commitment to healthier food systems but also reinforced Malaysia’s capability to contribute meaningfully to global innovation agendas.
DLB remains dedicated to pioneering solutions that address both nutritional challenges and agricultural sustainability, ensuring that Malaysian innovation continues to earn its place on the world stage.
