On 8th June 2024, De Lettuce Bear Marketing Sdn Bhd had the honour of hosting YB Datuk Seri Haji Mohamad Sabu, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, and YB Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan, the Second Finance Minister, at our state-of-the-art indoor vertical farming facility in Bandar Puteri, Klang. This visit marks a significant milestone for our company, showcasing the government’s recognition and support for our innovative approach to sustainable agriculture.

During their visit, the ministers were given an extensive tour of our hydroponic systems,
highlighting our advanced technology that ensures optimal growth of farm produce indoors. Both ministers expressed their admiration for our commitment to leveraging technology in agriculture, noting the potential of such practices to revolutionise food production in Malaysia. The ministers’ visit also served as a testament to the success of our vertical farming initiatives, which aim to produce high-quality, nutritious vegetables while minimising environmental impact.

In a gesture of support and encouragement, YB Datuk Seri Haji Mohamad Sabu and YB Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan presented us with a mock cheque for RM50,000. This contribution will further our efforts in advancing sustainable agriculture practices and enhancing our production capabilities. The event concluded with a Budi MADANI Agri-Komoditi Open Day, fostering greater awareness and participation in innovative agricultural practices among the local community. We are deeply grateful for the recognition and support from the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Finance, which inspires us to continue our mission of transforming agriculture in Malaysia.
